Paradeis Lost

Roger, not only do I know the origin of the name Cholmondley's, but I clearly remember the dog the eating spot was named for. (Pardon the ending preposition, please.) Cholmondley was the name of the dog belonging to the beloved campus photographer Ralph Norman who was, next to Abe Sachar, the most well known person on campus.

As the student manager of Cholmondeley's 1977-78, I enjoyed the Chum's video. Nice to see the menu expanded beyond muffins and cheesecake. But do you know the origin of the cafe name??
