In only its ninth year Academy Prep has already realized historic results:
- Academy Prep graduates attend some of the most prestigious high schools in the Tampa Bay area and throughout the country: Schools such as Berkeley Prep, Tampa Prep, Jesuit, Academy of the Holy Names, Carrollwood Day, Cambridge Christian, Tampa Catholic, Phillips Exeter (NH), Culver Military (IN), and Blue Ridge (VA).
- Most Academy Prep graduates enter high school at least two years ahead of grade level.
- Students attend Academy Prep 11 hours a day, on Saturdays, and 11 months a year.
- Students win chess tournaments, perform Shakespeare on stage, learn to garden and sew, learn karate, and host art shows.
We must continue to make this dream possible. Academy Prep is funded solely by contributions from individuals and businesses; it is not a charter school, but an independent not-for-profit.
