IDFWO is proud to run various dynamic projects, as we purchase school supplies for 1st graders, take the orphans abroad for an amazing summer camp experience, celebrate Hanukkah, Passover and Sukkot by taking hundreds of our little heroes to retreats all over Israel, hold an unforgettable celebration for them on their Bar/Bat Mitzvah's at the Western Wall in Jerusalem, provide scholarships for university students and reach out to newlyweds with presents on their wedding days. For our widows we offer a week of relaxation at the Red Sea resort of Eilat, run business opportunity workshops for Druze women and arrange numerous trips and university level classes, amongst other teaching them English, computer skills, working with them on parental issues and how to deal with their tragic loss.
