Educating Tomorrow's Leaders Today is the Unistream way of preparing youth for business and social leadership throughout the rest of their adult lives.
Unistream strives to provide knowledge, managerial tools, practical experience and values to cultivate self-motivated leadership. The Unistream program enables program participants to overcome growth-inhibiting patterns of thinking. The guiding principles of the Unistream program focus on ensuring future involvement in the community and initiative by young leadership. Their leadership should contribute to the growth of the economy and society in periphery communities, and throughout Israel.
Educating Tomorrow's Leaders Today is the three year Unistream program which trains youth to cope with the complex socio-economic reality of the business and hi-tech world in Israel. This is combined with cultivating their potential as leaders characterized by social and communal consciousness. The program is anchored in a democratic worldview and values of mutual respect and tolerance.
Participants join the program at the beginning of 10th grade in groups with 20-25 of their peers, and complete the program when they finish 12th grade. Program participants live in communities in Israel's geographic and socio-economic periphery. The screening process for the program identifies their potential for leadership in the community and the business world. Unistream groups include Jews and Arabs, new immigrants and Israeli-born youth, residents of cities, rural communities, villages, kibbutzim and moshavim.
The program is in high demand. The Unistream profile strictly limits acceptance to talented youth. Based on the Unistream record of success, participants gain confidence in their own future from the moment they are accepted to the program. Unistream is committed to guiding these youth to realize their innate potential.
The training program follows a structured curriculum facilitated by programming coordinators and guest professionals. Sessions are conducted after school hours at Unistream Program Centers.
Upon completing the program, alumni are equipped with tools, knowledge and experience in business and in business and social entrepreneurialism. This provides them with a secure launching pad for entering key positions and assuming leadership in the job market and society.
