Right now we all have an opportunity to open our eyes, see the people around us who are living in serious crisis, and help them. Your contribution is significant and it will allow thousands of families to start the new year with hope and optimism, and to enjoy and dignified holiday meal.
As we do each year, and as long as the government does not provide a solution to the problem of lack of food security, we are launching a social initiative for Rosh Hashana in order to help hundreds of thousands of families facing serious crisis.
These families are ordinary people, people just like us, but at times they are invisible to us. We look at them, but we don’t really see them.
The social initiative for Rosh Hashana is taking place simultaneously on a number of different levels in order to raise a total of 200,000 holiday meals for the needy:
