2017 Give Them a Hand

At 11 years old, Ivy was starting over. Her owner was moving, and she had to say goodbye to everything she’d ever known since she was a pup. She needed someone to give her a hand.

The medical treatment and TLC she soon received got her through the hardest days of her life. She’s now found a home for her golden years. Ivy’s new mom loves that she’s a mellow senior who still enjoys gentle playtime and evening strolls.

Your gift of $72 provides the transitional care for pets like Ivy.

We welcome donations of any size to help us continue our mission.  Working together, we can make a difference in saving pets’ lives. Find out about all our donor programs…Ways to Give.

Question:

Is CT Humane a member of any national organization like the HSUS or ASPCA?

Answer:

No, we are not affiliated with any national organizations. The Connecticut Humane Society is a local non-profit that provides immediate and critical services to pets in our community. There is no national organization which provides direct care and financial support to Connecticut shelters on an ongoing basis.  Supporting your local shelter supports your community.

Our Aunt Joan's love of animals will always be in our memory. Her little dog Andy was adopted from the CT Humane Society. He made her very happy! We thank you for all you do.

Dear Josie, You are the sweetest girl to donate the money I would have left under your pillow to the Humane Society! I hope it helps the animals have big happy smiles just like yours! Love, the Tooth Fairy!
