Many animals arrive in the worst possible shape: malnourished, injured and cowering in fear. They need a lot of care. Together we can get them ready to go to a loving new home for the holidays. Please give today, and share with your network!

Exciting News: Give $100 and it becomes $200!

Dec. 10th, 9:35am: We’re so excited to announce that thanks to the generosity of the Eldon & Anne Foote Fund at the Edmonton Community Foundation your gift will go twice as far in helping the animals.

Our generous benefactor will match any 'A Second Chance' donations received before December 31stup to a total of $40,000.

They also want to recognize the generous contributions already made and so have matched all gifts already received. That means we have just another $22,516 to go to make the most of this generous opportunity!

Of course the animals need us throughout the year, not just during the holidays, so exceeding our first goal by such an impressive amount means we'll be able to give more animals a second chance right into the New Year.

Thank you from the bottom of our heart for being such fabulous friends for abused, injured and abandoned animals.

This gift is in memory of MONTANA, who sadly passed away in November. Montana called Victoria SPCA his home for a short time until he came to stay in his forever home with us... we miss him everyday. Our best friend, our reason to go for a walk, ... we miss ...

We did it!

Thank you so much to everybody who helped make our A Second Chance holiday campaign such a great success.  The $40,000 raised by our supporters will be matched by the Eldon & Anne Foote Fund at the Edmonton Community Foundation. If you still want to donate to help the animals in our shelters these holidays you can do so here:
