Officials from the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality informed Raven Woods Animal Sanctuary that if they don't install a new $40,000 septic system for the handling of dog waste, they will close the "No Kill" shelter and seize the dogs. That would mean certain death for Jerry, Snookie and the rest of the canine residents.

This is amazing.:) I am so excited . This means now we just need to keep adopting dogs out to get to the limit and then keep a normal amount of dogs for them to be safe forever:) Will talk to you soon Mr. John
This is great news!! I knew we could do it!! Not that I didn't have some worries along the way but ultimately we did it!! Goes to show that one, two, three, four, etc. people CAN make a difference when we all focus together!
