For the past five months I have volunteered with this incredible organization. I have gotten to know the doctors that donate their time, the staff that keeps things running, and the amazing children that are given a second chance at life. To witness the transformation these kids have after surgery or treatment is such a profound privilege. SACH has forever touched my heart and I encourage you to help continue their efforts to save hearts and lives!

Woodley came from Haiti to Israel to be saved

This Passover we had even more reason to celebrate: Woodley Elisse , the six year old Haiti earthquake survivor who was brought to Israel with the help of the Israeli national rescue team, has returned home to Hiati.

His amazing story of a little boy who survived the earthquake, survived a complex open heart surgery and fought for his life after all the complications that followed the surgery - is a true model for all of us and a wonderful Passover story - the Holiday of Freedom.

We are now preparing to bring another 5 children from Haiti to Israel for live saving cardiac treatment.

About Save a Child's Heart

Save a Child's Heart is an international humanitarian project providing life-saving heart surgery and follow-up care for children from dozens of developing countries, regardless of their race, religion, or financial situation. SACH offers all of its varied services at Wolfson Medical Center in Holon, Israel.

SACH is also dedicated to improving the quality of pediatric cardiac care for children from developing countries and creating centers of competence in these countries.
