Dear friends and supporters-to-be,

I know for sure that every each of us has an infinite internal desire to make this world a better place. But most of the time when confronted with all the problems of today's society like poverty, war, terrorism or natural disasters we feel too powerless, useless and thus do not make any single effort to do something.

Here I am presenting to you an amazing opportunity to really HELP!

The kids I am currently working with are brought to Israel from poor developing countries to get here life-saving cardiac surgeries. The fact that since the establishment of the "Save a child's heart" in 1996 more than 2.300 children could have already been saved is only due to the generousity, activism and loving-kindness of people just like you and me.

Volunteers from all over the world dedicate their time and energy to look after the kids. The best Israeli surgeons donate their time and skills to conduct the surgeries. And not to forget the sponsors, without whose financial support this remarkable organisation would not exist!

Soon is St. Valentine's Day. Instead of sponsoring your local florists and chocolatiers, I ask you to help repair a REAL HEART!!! Flowers will wilt, chocolate will be eaten up but the children whose lives you can so easiely save will be thankful to you FOREVER!

My goal is to fundraise at least 500 US Dollar. What is the value of 20-30 Dollar compared to the value of these kids' lives? Please, answer this question by yourself!

Do not hesitate to DONATE, to TELL your friends and family to donate and feel free to contact me if you want some more information about our campaign!

"To save one life is as if you have saved the world." (The Talmud)

Woodley came from Haiti to Israel to be saved

This Passover we had even more reason to celebrate:  Woodley Elisse , the six year old Haiti earthquake survivor who was brought to Israel with the help of the Israeli national rescue team, has returned home to Hiati.

His amazing story of a little boy who survived the earthquake, survived a complex open heart surgery and fought for his life after all the complications that followed the surgery - is a true model for all of us and a wonderful Passover story - the Holiday of Freedom.

We are now preparing to bring another 5 children from Haiti to Israel for live saving cardiac treatment.

Please give generously from your heart so we can repair theirs.

"...About Briana, let me tell you she surprised her kindergarten pedagogue and her speech therapist! I have no idea what happened but she’s a lot more active and trying to say more words than before. In first days in kindergarten, when I was going to pick her up at noon, her pedagogue was keep telling me almost daily: `Today a little girl came to me to tell me `Madam, Briana is speaking!` and that followed every day until they got used to it!..." Woodlee Elysee is now a "different and healthy child."

Six-year-old Woodlee Elysee has turned into a different child during the past month – from one so sick with a congenital heart condition that lack of oxygen gave his brown skin a deep blue tinge, to a healthy one who runs, jumps, laughs and uses some Hebrew words in addition to his native French.
