Hello Family and Friends:
This is me....Anita M. Wash-Morrow, MSW
I’m the Student Counselor at Academy Prep. As many of you already know, I like to be called Ms. Nita; the students enjoy this name as well. I am also the Organic Garden classroom instructor and the Sewing/Fashion Show instructor - WOW!!
I am pleased and honored to be apart of a miracle. The miracle of what an education can do for a child. As you might already know, I have been assigned to Academy Prep for the past eight years as the Guidance Counselor. Each day, I work through conflict resolutions, peer pressure, bullying, anxiety, stress, prior school homesickness, missing old friends, appropriate home study time and talking about appropriate bed time.
Each work day, I look forward to new adventures and journeys with the middle school students here on campus. There is something new everyday!
I also invite you to come to Academy Prep...come to the office and ask for "Ms. Nita." I will be glad to show you around and introduce you to the staff and some students.
Finally, I want to say THANK YOU in advance for your donation. The money (any amount) you contribute today will go towards the student's scholarship to attend Academy Prep.
