Friends -- I can't thank you enough for your generous support to date! You have helped me make a difference by reaching my personal fundraising goal....thank you, thank you, thank you!

With only a few days remaining in this important campaign, I'm continuing to solicit your support -- because I continue to care about our future, educating our young people.

As many of you know, the vast majority of my volunteer work in the community is dedicated to improving the opportunities afforded to African American youth. My most recent endeavor is leading a college scholarship fundraising campaign themed "Securing Our Future -- Today!"

I strongly believe that college makes a difference and that there is strength in numbers. Working together, our small contributions can make a significant impact. These talented young people deserve our support as they are the future. Check out the young ladies on the youtube video!

Alpha Kappa Alpha, Inc.'s Gamma Theta Omega Chapter has been an integral part of serving the Tampa Bay community for over 70 years!

A strong belief in the unlimited potential of our young people and the value of higher education has driven members of Gamma Theta Omega chapter to raise countless scholarship dollars since the early 1960s.   In addition, Emerging Young Leaders (EYL), an Alpha Kappa Alpha, Inc. signature program, provides leadership development, civic engagement, enhanced academic preparation and character building to middle school girls as they prepare for a successful future. Countless young ladies have come to Gamma Theta Omega as "diamonds in the rough" and leave as "precious pearls"!
