One of the chief sources of tension between Palestinians and West Bank settlers are the ongoing attacks by extremist settlers on Palestinian Olive orchards. I have seen it up close many times as a reporter covering the West Bank. Settlers do it because they know how provocative it is.

On Tu Bishvat, the holiday in which we celebrate trees and show them respect, please join in supporting APN's new campaign to reject vandalizing trees and instead replant peace.
