Thousands of people on the East coast are trying to put their lives back  together. "I feel like my childhood has been washed away" said one young woman.  The Center for Mind-Body Medicine provides trauma relief for people in crisis around the world. Right now we've been organizing coping skills sessions in the hardest hit areas along the Jersey shore. 

"The emotional devastation is as real as the physical" said volunteer coordinator, Dr. Carol Penn.  "The shock and loss is palpable.  It isn't just property that is broken--what needs to be restored is body and spirit."
