On October 10, 2012 I will be joinging a group of climbers, led by the Friends of Save a Child's Heart in Melbourne, Australia, to climb, once again, to the summit of Africa – to the Uhuru Peak of Mount Kilimanjaro.

In 2011 we raised just over $700,000 and this year we plan to to raise an aditional $300,000 so as to reach reach the goal of 1 Million Dollars.

We have already made a good start with $120,000 raised by of friends in Melbourne and I invite you to join me this year to help raise $10,000 so as to bring us yet one step closer to our target, enabling us to continue on saving one heart at a time!


Save a Child's Heart (SACH) is an Israeli-based international humanitarian project, whose mission is to improve the quality of pediatric cardiac care for children from developing countries who suffer from heart disease and to create centers of competence in these countries. SACH is totally dedicated to the idea that every child deserves the best medical treatment available, regardless of the child's nationality, religion, color, gender or financial situation.

הצל לבו של ילד הינו פרוייקט הומניטרי בינלאומי, שבסיסו בישראל, הדואג לניתוחי לב מצילי חיים ומעקב רפואי לילדים ממדינות מתפתחות.

מטרתה של עמותת הצל לבו של ילד היא לשפר את איכות הטיפול הרפואי בילדים חולי לב ממדינות מתפתחות, הסובלים ממחלות לב מולדות וליצור מרכזי טיפול מיומנים במדינות אלו.
