Please help my dear friend Avi and Prize4Life accelerate the discovery of treatments and a cure for MND/ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease.

Make a donation or become a Prize4Life Champion, and help raise $100,000 to launch the next MND/ALS Prize in 2012!

Patients and families living with this terrible disease deserve a future without MND/ALS. With your support, Prize4Life will continue its mission — to make sure that a treatment and a cure for MND/ALS becomes a reality. We need your help now!

Avi Kremer Wins Israeli Prime Minister's Prize

October 18, 2011

The Israeli Office of the Prime Minister recently announced it would be awarding Prize4Life CEO and co-founder Avi Kremer with the "Prime Minister's Prize for Initiatives and Innovations Not for Profit."

The Prizes are designed to encourage and promote innovative and creative thinking in business ventures that have the potential to inspire significant changes in science, technology and society. "I am flattered and humbled to receive this prize," said Avi Kremer, "The decision of the distinguished national committee is a testament to the innovation and impact of the Prize4Life model—an efficient and results-oriented model that has already proven its worth in helping to advance ALS research. This prize belongs to the thousands of people who have supported Prize4Life since its founding as much as it belongs to me."

Read a release detailing the award from the office of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu here.

The Prime Minister's Prizes will be awarded for the second time in history during a ceremony at The Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel on November 15, 2011 as part of Israel's participation in Global Entrepreneurship Week. More than one hundred countries will take part in the roundtable conferences and collaborative sessions highlighting entrepreneurship worldwide from November 14-20, 2011.
