About Hibba


Hibba: The Israeli Heritage Movement was founded in 1982 by Eliyahu Gabbay and is currently chaired by Yonah Betzaleli. 

Since its founding, Hibba has been a leader in strengthening Jewish identity through educational, social and cultural programming.  Hibba has been a Birthright provider since 2002 and has brought thousands of young Jews to Israel.

Please help us engrave Jerusalem  upon the hearts of our IDF soldiers.

A staggering 50% of Israel's younger generation never visits Jerusalem before joining the army.

Hibba's program "A Day of Jerusalem" aims to instill in the hearts of Israel's soldiers a love of Jerusalem and its significance to the Jewish people.

Our special leadership seminars give our soldiers values of Mutual Corporation, Jewish leadership and the Love of the Land of Israel.
