Help Thor

Only eleven-weeks old and Thor has a broken leg - this baby Jack Russell-Pomeranian mix now needs you!

After being found with his leg caught between some metal bars, he was rushed to the vet.

Initially it looked like he might lose the leg; however, after a thorough double check, he won't!

He will need to wear his cast for about a month and then will need to take a couple more weeks to recover. Once that happens, little Thor will be ready to find his forever family and let them worship him with bountiful gifts of toys, treats and snuggles.

ID#: 435859

*Goal includes: surgery, medication, annual vaccinations, neuter, regular health check, and daily care for Thor until he’s ready for adoption. If his medical costs and cost of care is less than is raised in his name, additional funds will provide care for other animals.

Animal Cost of Care (minus medical emergencies)

Item / Activity Cost

Initial Medical Exam C$46

Food, shelter and daily care C$315

*Cat - Additional Costs (due to longer stays) C$250

Update!

When little Thor broke his leg he needed help to get him the care he needed - thankfully animal-lovers like you were there.

Today, Thor continues to recover with a foster family, who are doing a great job keeping this energetic pup engaged despite being on strict rest.
