Help Walter

MATCH MET! Thank you to the generous animal-lover who met all gifts up to $3320!

MATCHING GIFT ALERT! Walter's knee causes him constant agony and leaves him unable to walk for anymore than a couple minutes at a time. How did this happen? Well, he came from a breeder and was bought from a pet store. In other words, he was inbred to the point that he has severe health issues.

This young French bulldog's kneecap is off by 10mm, which doesn't sound like much, but it grinds against the bone every time he bends it.

Brought in to the Comox BC SPCA branch then transferred to Victoria to get the surgery he needs, Walter needs your support and love to get back onto all four paws.

Your generosity will help give an outgoing pup - who loves other dogs, playing with toys and cuddles - his life back.

ID#: 435050

*Goal includes: surgery, medication, annual vaccinations, regular health check, and daily care for Walter until he’s ready for adoption. If his medical costs and cost of care is less than is raised in his name, additional funds will provide care for other animals.

I know the perfect home for Walter. He would have a boston terrier for a brother and whippet/cross for a sister. He would live in a small town with a huge yard and go for daily off leash hikes up in the hills. No kids just adults
